Known for his humbleness and down-to-earth nature, Shah Rukh Khan once again won the hearts of his fans as he heaped praises and wished good luck to Sachin Tendulkar's son Arjun Tendulkar - who recently made his IPL debut for Mumbai Indians. Keeping the competitiveness aside,? the owner of Kolkata Knight Riders said seeing a friend's son take the cricket field brought him joy.
"As competitive as this IPL may be¡ but when u see a friends son #ArjunTendulkar take the field it is a matter of such happiness and joy. Wish Arjun all the best and @sachin_rt what a proud moment!! Wow!", Khan wrote on Twitter.?
"This was a new experience for me because till now I have not actually gone and watched him play. I just wanted him to have the freedom to go out and express himself and do whatever he wanted to," he said.
The Master Blaster added, "I sat in the dressing room because I did not want to let him move away from his plans and start looking at the mega screen here and suddenly realise that I was watching there, therefore I was inside."
"It is a different feeling because 2008 was the first season for me and 16 years down the line, he is playing for the same team, not bad."
"Shah Rukh is the most beautiful and wonderful dad in the universe, and is affectionate with all the children, this is one of the reasons, among many, that I feel so proud to love you. I love @iamsrk", a fan wrote.
"The respect that I have for this man keeps on growing day by day," said another one.
"Wow, I didn't expect this..In this world of negativity it's so good to see everyone congratulating Sachin on Arjun's debut."
