Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor?has revealed that his latest movie Jersey is one of the films that is very close to his heart. The film starring Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in the lead roles was much appreciated by audiences for its performances and theme.?
Speaking of why the film Jersey is special to him, the Udta Punjab actor said, "Jersey is one of the films that is very close to my heart because the film says something that has stayed with me. In Arjun Talwar¡¯s words: ¡®Zindagi Lambi Nahi Badi Honi Chahiye¡¯. I am extremely excited to see that people are loving the film worldwide.¡±?
Actress Mrunal Thakur also took the opportunity to support Shahid Kapoor's comment about the film.?
"I am really happy that the film has struck a chord with your heart. It has been receiving all the love from audiences around the world," she told ETimes.?
Earlier, the actor, who made fans go crazy with his performance in the Bollywood movie Kabir Singh, had revealed how a unique film like Jersey inspires him to never give up. He said that he connected with the movie deeply.?
Moreover, when Shahid Kapoor's wife Mira Rajput watched his film Jersey for the first time, she cried for more than 10 minutes and hugged her actor husband.
