Karan JoharĄŻs recently released film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani is grabbing attention for all the right reasons. The family drama is being hailed for its story, cast, emotions and grandeur thatĄŻll live by people forever. The film has earned over Rs 50 crores in just four days of its release.
This romantic drama has an ensemble cast including? Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir, and Kshitee Jog to name a few. Popular Bengali star Tota who plays the character of AliaĄŻs father in RRPK has now shared his two cents about the film.
In a recent interview, Tota revealed that KJo was very that his character of Chondon Chatterjee cannot look like a caricature. He told India Today, Ą°It should be somebody who is confident in his own skin, somebody who celebrates the idea of culture, of his dance form, of his art, if I may call it. He was very clear about this, that it has to be depicted in a very proper manner.Ąą
Talking about the same, Chowdhary congratulated Ą°Karan Johar and the writers for creating a sequence like that. It is very rare to come across sequences like that so sensitively handled and written. And it's been picturised in such a way that it was in the truest sense of celebration of the evolution.Ąą

Appreciating Ranveer, Tota added, Ą°Ranveer is a delight to work with because he is so full of positivity. He's such a lovely human being, not one mean bone in his body. He's always so open, nice, always smiling and always making the other person feel important. He's a different breed altogether. They don't make human beings like him anymore. He was a superstar. He's so down to earth.Ąą
KJo told Film Companion, Ą°It's also about things I have believed personally. As a child, I was very effeminate and I used to dance in my own room to Hindi songs. My father used to watch and clap. Every time his friends came, he would say Karan ĄŽWoh dance dikhao'. Somewhere, Tota's character is borrowed from my childhood. When he says talent has no gender, I believe that.Ąą
