Recently, Udit Narayan made headlines for all the wrong reasons. The musician received backlash for kissing a female fan on the lips at a live event that apparently happened 6 months ago. In response to the video, Udit also defended the action, which infuriated some online who stated he should be called out for his actions. In addition to the reactions, Udit Narayan memes have gone viral on the internet.
Taking to the internet, some people started saying while he has a nice voice, he isn't the best man to be around. Some also went on to compare him to Emraan Hashmi (you know why.)
Talking about his video going viral, Udit told Hindustan Times, ¡°Fans itne deewane hote hain na. Hum log aise nahi hain, hum decent log hain. Some people encourage this and show their love through this. Udaake kya karna hai ab iss cheez ko? There are so many people in the crowd, and we have bodyguards present too. But fans think they are getting a chance to meet, so someone extends their hands for a handshake, some kiss the hands¡ yeh sab deewangi hoti hai. Uspe itna dhyaan nahi dena chahiye.¡±
According to Udit Narayan, people frequently anticipate issues because of the way his family is seen. To the astonishment of some, he said, his son, musician Aditya Narayan, stays out of the spotlight and avoids controversy. He praised his fans' excitement during his stage appearances and said he would rather see them happy, adding that his family doesn't deal with such problems and instead concentrates on making others happy.
Looking back on his 46-year career in Bollywood, Udit Narayan claimed he has never been known to be do anything like this. He revealed that he constantly folds his hands to meet his followers, expressing his sincere gratitude for their support and affection. Since such moments might never come again, he bows respectfully on stage.
