Recently, Rajpal Yadav, who starred in Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, came under fire for a video he shared advising people on Diwali to avoid setting off firecrackers to save animals. He then was criticised by many social media users for being hypocritical, pointing out that he had previously advertised chicken and other meat biryanis. Recently, during a chat with a media personnel, he got offended by a question about the controversy and snatched the journalist¡¯s phone.?
A reporter from a well-known Hindi newspaper posted a video from Uttar Pradesh. In the video, Rajpal is seen responding to queries from another journalist while the journalist records his responses on camera. In response to a question about his current film schedule, Rajpal states that viewers would now be able to see him every 1.5 months. The reporter then starts to inquire about Rajpal's most recent remarks regarding Diwali. This question seemed to irritate Rajpal, who snatched the man's phone away.
As a major source of air and noise pollution, Rajpal had pleaded with his admirers not to light firecrackers during Diwali. But after receiving criticism, he removed that appeal and posted a fresh video to his social media accounts.
?A part of his apology was, ¡°In the video, Rajpal said in Hindi, ¡°Hello friends. Best wishes for Diwali! Two days ago, a video was shared on my social media handles, which I got removed at once. I profusely apologise for whoever was offended by the video from around the world.
