The drama that unfolded on the stage of Academy Awards 2022 shocked the audiences at Dolby theatre and at home. What made Will Smith so angry that he got up from his seat, went to the stage, punched Chris Rock and then shouted at him from his seat - "Keep my wife¡¯s name out of your (expletive) mouth"?
Will Smith didn't like the joke that Chris Rock made about his wife?Jada Pinkett Smith. Rock had said?he was looking forward to a sequel to G.I. Jane.?
What was Chris Rock's reaction? "Wow," he said and continued, "Will Smith just smacked the s**t out of me."

For the unversed, Pinkett Smith has been vocal about battling alopecia, an autoimmune disorder, which causes hair loss by?attacking hair follicles.
It is said that Rock later approached the Smiths to apologize and Denzel Washington got involved too.
