On Friday, a video surfaced raising concerns about law and order in Gurugram. The footage alleged that a group of individuals, claimed to be Elvish Yadav and his colleagues, were depicted assaulting a man.

While many criticised Elvish Yadav, a section of users also supported him, saying the video could be fake and that first the man identified as 'Maxtern' stared provoking and instigating online.??
Maxtern accused Elvish of threatening to kill him, sharing screenshots of messages where Elvish asked him to meet in Gurugram post-midnight. The X user alleges having video evidence of the incident.
The controversy stems from Maxtern's video highlighting Elvish's camaraderie with Munawar Faruqui, known for facing backlash in 2020 over remarks about Lord Ram and Goddess Sita.
Elvish's Cryptic Response
Facing criticism, Elvish posts a cryptic note on X, advising followers to focus on love and progress without directly addressing the allegations. Munawar responded with a heart emoji.
Meanwhile, the person who filed a case against YouTuber Elvish Yadav and singer Rahul Yadav for using snakes in a video this week has also expressed concerns about their safety due to threats. Saurabh Gupta, from People for Animals (PFA), requested a new court date for security reasons, fearing an attack like Sidhu Moosewala and Nafe Singh Rathi. The next hearing is on March 28.?
In November, six, including Elvish Yadav, were charged under wildlife and conspiracy laws. Gupta reported death threats and pressure to withdraw the complaint, seeking security. PFA's reply on snake use was submitted on February 20. Police arrested five people in November based on a PFA sting operation.
Elvish Yadav Slapped A Man In Viral Video
In an old video that circulated widely, Elvish Yadav was seen slapping a man. The clip shows Elvish exiting a restaurant, then turning back to approach a seated individual. Clearly agitated, Elvish confronts the person and administers the slap. Despite the individual's efforts to engage in an argument, Elvish turns back to face him, only to be restrained by his team.
Following the incident, Elvish provided a clarification, shared by his fan account on X. In an audio statement, he expressed, "Look, the matter is, I have no inclination for fights or raising my hand. I focus on my work and lead a normal life. I willingly pose for photos with those who ask. However, if someone passes inappropriate comments or uses offensive language from behind, I do not tolerate it."??
