Chris Rock and Will Smith's Oscars 2022 altercation made headlines in March and the world isn't forgetting the incident anytime soon. Chris has spoken about the same on more than one occasions since then and in a recent standup set, joked about the same saying he has got most of his hearing back.?
According to The Telegraph, during a standup comedy act at London's Royal Albert Hall, Chris Rock joked and said,?"I'm okay, if anybody was wondering." He added, "Got most of my hearing back."
For the unversed, Will Smith made headlines for all the wrong reasons in March this year when he walked up to the stage and slapped Chris Rock after the comedian cracked a joke on Jada Pinkett Smith. Will had later issued a public apology to Chris Rock and was also seen tearing up during his acceptance speech at the Oscars 2022. Further, the actor resigned from The Academy after he was banned for 10 years from the Oscars or any other academy event.?
Will Smith's connection to India and spirituality dates back to 2018, when he visited the country to carry out a spiritual ritual in the Holy city of Haridwar. The ace actor had reportedly met a spiritual leader who prepared his 'kundali' and predicted that in 2022, he will be conferred with an International award. The actor won his first-ever Oscar this year for his performance in King Richard.
