Harry Potter turns 39 years old today and became the most popular characters in cinema. The first publication of JK Rowling¡¯s Harry Potter and The Sorcerer¡¯s Stone hit the stands in the US on this very date. The first book itself managed to cast a strong spell and the readers got hooked to it. It became a part of the pop-culture overnight. So much so, that it became like a ritual for fans to wait the entire night and stand in queues to score the latest book before everyone else. As if the books weren¡¯t enough, then came the movies and all hell broke loose. For every 90s kid, well for most of them, Harry Potter became an integral part of their lives.
It became so difficult to part ways with Harry Potter after seven books and eight movies that fans all across the globe appealed to author Rowling to spin it some more and present an additional plot to the already finished story. The remarkable woman did not disappoint and thus launched Harry Potter & The Cursed Child. Dumbledore's sacrifice of drinking the potion to get to the locket and their struggle to escape from that cave from the army of Inferi was spine-chilling.

This scene is from the second task of the Triwizard tournament where the participant's valuable items (which turned out to be their friends/family) were taken away from them.
