Mumbai has more stars these days than usual as celebrities across the globe are attending the Dior fashion show and Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre launch. Amid all glam and glow, what is appearing more interesting is the Desi paparazzi calling the Hollywood stars with whatnot names.

Several videos are taking the internet by storm as paps have some weird decoding for each foreign celebrity.
If you are still living under a rock then last night, NMACC was attended by Hollywood stars Gigi Hadid, Penelope Cruz, Tom Holland, Kat Graham and designer Law Roach. As these not-so-known stars to desi paps walked the pink carpet at the Ambani gala, what followed was hilarious name-calling.
From ¡®Tommmmmyyyyyyyy¡¯ to much longer stretched ¡®Aye Tomye/Tommy¡¯, these paps sounded like welcoming their old lost friends. What broke the internet in a series of on-floor laughing was some paps calling supermodel Gigi, ¡®Gigi Didi Ekde¡¯ and asking ¡®Shakira hai kya bhai, Kaun hai?¡¯.

Talking about the Bollywood stars, then the event was attended by Shahrukh Khan, Alia Bhatt, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Priyanka Chopra and her husband Nick Jonas among others. For those who don¡¯t know, NMACC is India's first-of-its-kind, multi-disciplinary cultural space as it displays India's finest offerings in music, theatre, fine arts, and crafts.

Nita Ambani shared her thoughts about it and said, "Bringing this Cultural Centre to life has been a sacred journey. We were keen to create a space for both promoting and celebrating our artistic and cultural heritage in cinema and music, in dance and drama, in literature and folklore, in arts and crafts and in science and spirituality. A space where we showcase the best of India to the world and welcome the best of the world to India."

The event opened with Nita Ambani herself dancing to Shreya Ghoshal-sung ¡®Raghupati Raghav¡¯. The grand visuals showed Nita dwelling deep in the music alongside a group of dancers. She was dressed in a beautiful pink-orange saree complimented with heavy jewellery while the dancers donned white outfits.
