As per Mirror.co.uk, director Doug Liman approached Universal Filmed Entertainment Group Chairman Donna Langley to share his great vision.?He pitched his movie, which also includes sending 60-year-old Hollywood actor Tom Cruise to the International Space Station on a rocket.?

If everything goes according to plan, Tom Cruise will make history at the International Space Station.?

As per reports, Donna Langley shared that Tom Cruise would be flown into space before disembarking from a rocket. The entire journey of Tom Cruise to the Space Station will be captured live on camera for the upcoming film.?

"We have a great project in development with Tom that does contemplate him taking a rocket to the Space Station. And hopefully, he will become the first civilian to do a space walk outside of the International Space Station," Donna told BBC as reported by the media outlet.?

Sharing some secretive details from the upcoming film, she further said, "He will play a down-on-his-luck guy who finds himself in the position of being the only person who could save Earth."?
