Actors Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor are now promoting their new flick Loveyapa. They were recently joined by Junaid's father, Bollywood actor Aamir Khan, during the Salman Khan-hosted Bigg Boss 18 finale to promote the film. During the show, Junaid referred his father's ex-wives, Kiran Rao and Reena Dutta. In a recent interview, the Maharaj actor acknowledged sorry for his statements and admitted that he should have 'behaved' himself.
On the Bigg Boss set, Aamir and Salman traded phones and began browsing them. During this, Salman joked that he wouldn't find anything fascinating in Aamir's phone because he had been married and divorced twice.
The Loveyapa actor said, ¡°What do I even see in your phone? Either Reena [Dutta] or Kiran [Rao] would have texted you.¡± Seizing the moment, Junaid chimed in, ¡°Toh do-do ex-wife ki gaaliyan padh paoge aap (You¡¯ll get to read messages from two ex-wives).¡±
While Junaid's quip had the audience in stitches, he later regretted expressing it. Junaid reflected on his statements and told Bollywood Bubble,?¡°I mean, maybe it was a little out of place. No, I mean, they¡¯re both very, very senior actors, so I think I should have behaved a little more¡They both have been doing this for 40 years now and they are both fantastic. So maybe I should have behaved myself.¡±
Aamir Khan initially married Reena Dutta in 1986, and they had two children, Ira and Junaid Khan. Their marriage ended in 2002. Aamir married Kiran Rao in 2005, and their son, Azad, was born via surrogacy.?
Aamir and Kiran ended their 15-year relationship peacefully in 2021. However, they continue to co-parent Azad and work together professionally. Aamir recently produced the film Laapataa Ladies, directed by Kiran Rao.
