Shin Jung-hwan, a former television personality, has ignited fresh controversy with a startling allegation involving a South Korean female celebrity at the center of a sex bribery scandal. His revelation came on the April 21 broadcast of the YouTube talk show NonNonNon, in the segment headlined "The Wildest Roundtable Yet! (feat. Power, Celebrities, and Sex Bribery)."
As the conversation unfolded, delving into the dark world of celebrity sponsorships and alleged sexual transactions, Shin shared a troubling story. He claimed to have overheard a group of older acquaintances openly discussing their financial dealings with a particular female celebrity, casually mentioning specific amounts of money exchanged for her company.
As they spoke, Shin Jung-hwan said, "At first, I thought I misheard. But then I realized they were all talking about the same woman. Three different men, one name, it shocked me."
According to Shin, the men mentioned specific amounts ¡ª like 5 million KRW (?3.1 lakh) and 10 million KRW (?6.2 lakh) ¡ª allegedly paid for her company.
When co-host Kang Byung-gyu inquired about the celebrity's identity, Shin declined. "I can't even tell the production team. It's hard to talk about because she was having meals, drinks, and playing golf with these businessmen who were clearly paying her," he explained.?
The show's staff then continued to inquire whether the woman had ever been exposed publicly. To this, Shin said that there were rumors, but no official confirmation. Kang also mentioned that similar lists of names and purported "prices" have appeared in the past.?
Panelist Jang Hye-ri expressed surprise that a single lady would meet multiple men from the same circle. Shin responded: "She probably has a general idea but assumes they won't talk about it."
Since the episode went viral, South Koreans have been guessing who the female star is. It has aroused significant curiosity and alarm within internet groups. Although no names were released, the allegations have sparked concerns about privacy, reputational harm, and the perilous combination of rumor and public interest.
