The film follows the life of Ankur, a realtor from Delhi, played by Arjun Kapoor, who starts a new romantic chapter after going through a messy divorce. Things get complicated when his ex-wife (Bhumi), who has memory loss and doesn’t remember they’re divorced, unexpectedly comes back into his life.

This situation leaves Ankur stuck in a funny and emotional spot, as he tries to balance his old feelings with his new ones, all while dealing with wedding plans and memories from the past to figure out what comes next in his life. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has granted the film a UA 13+ rating after recommending a few modifications:-

1. Replacing a specific hand gesture.
2. Changing the term 'Haryanvi' to 'Ek Gang'.
3. Substituting 'Modi ji' with 'The Government'.
4. Reducing a 'sensual audio of woman' by 50%.

The final runtime stands at 143 minutes and 44 seconds (2 hours, 23 minutes, and 44 seconds). Post its theatrical run, Mere Husband Ki Biwi will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
