Modern Love takes a Desi twist with its Mumbai edition and provides six love stories coming from the City of Dreams while they explore what it means to be in love.
Love is the foundation of this series. Love is love; the feeling of being loved is universal, regardless of who you are or what you do. This anthology series has gained popularity due to its ability to transcend age, race, and gender, as well as spirituality.
Love is the most potent emotion that one can have. It is what motivates us to do things we never thought we'd do. Love has the power to light a fire in our hearts and inspire us to be better people. It can give our lives meaning and purpose. It has the ability to make us feel alive, hopeful, and joyful.
Love entails looking out for one another in difficult times, giving each other space when we need it, forgiving one another for our mistakes, and always striving to be better people for one another.
Modern Love Mumbai gracefully navigates the various shades of love that the city of dreams, Mumbai, throws up and celebrates. A voice-over introduces the trailer, describing Mumbai's energy and love. It also features very realistic city-scapes.
There are six stories in this series. These stories follow the standard pattern of covering a wide range of love topics, including romance, physical affection, platonic relationships, and familial relationships.

Modern Love Mumbai has a variety of layers and textures.
