Natasha Poonawalla was among the Indian faces who walked the Met Gala red carpet donning a custom-made outfit by Maison Margiela. While a lot of people called her outfit expired mushroom, she described her dress by writing on Instagram, "Our interpretation of this year¡¯s dress code was a journey which evolved and was shaped as we got to know each other. We loved the idea of the fragility of time and life co-existing with strength and permanence and incorporating my own sleeping beauties; my set of wedding jewels. It has been an honour to work together with a legend, and such an open creative collaborator to make an everlasting living piece of art."

Indian billionaire Sudha Reddy made heads turn at the event with her more than 200 carats of diamonds. Called the Amore Eterno, her 180 carats necklace featured a 25-carat heart-shaped diamond at the centre and three other 20-carat heart-shaped diamonds on the sides.?Additionally, adorning her fingers were two striking diamond solitaire rings, boasting weights of 23 and 20 carats respectively, with a combined value estimated at around $20 million.?
