In Gullak season 4, Harsh Mayar shines as the adorable younger son, effortlessly embodying the character who is often playfully teased by his elder sibling. As the youngest son of the Mishra family, Mayar has shown various shades of his character throughout the four seasons. While the actor has given impeccable performances in movies like Hichki and web series like Abhay on Zee 5, his portrayal as Aman Mishra has garnered him immense popularity.?
Harsh was just 13 years old when he won a National Award for Best Child Actor?for his work in 2011 film I Am Kalam. In the film, he essayed the role of a Rajasthani boy who aspires to make it big. At the tender age of thirteen, he won the hearts of his audiences with his stellar performance.?
With the support of his uncle, Sunil Kumar, he enrolled in the Shri Ram Center in Delhi, as his parents couldn't afford the acting class fees. During this period, he performed in 5¨C6 stage shows.
"My first ever role was to play a monkey. Later, I started getting better roles. Once, we were doing a play and there was a huge crowd watching us. After we were done, I stepped out and was surrounded by the crowd. They started clapping and I felt this is what I must do. At least, here, people appreciate what you do," he told Rediff in an interview.?

He went on to audition 180 times for roles in singing, dancing, and acting. Though initially chosen for Chillar Party, he had to decline the role due to a broken right hand from playing. After recovering a few months later, he received another audition call. Encouraged by his parents, he attended and was ultimately cast in the film I Am Kalam.
Harsh Mayar went on to on to star in TV shows like?Gumrah: End of Innocence and?Tujhse Naaraz Nahin Zindagi and movies like?Jalpari: The Desert Mermaid and Kanpuriye,?but the one role that earned him widespread recognition was of Aman Mishra in?Gullak.?
