Sanam Teri Kasam Box Office Collection Day 7: Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane made their Bollywood debut with this romantic classic in 2016 amid huge anticipation. However, the film flopped miserably in theatres. 9 years later, fate has flipped and with its re-release on 7th February 2025, Sanam Teri Kasam has emerged as one of the most beautiful success stories in Hindi cinema. On Day 7 (February 13), Sanam Teri Kasam earned Rs 2.71 crore at the box office taking its worldwide total of re-release to Rs 30.67 crore. As the movie benefitted due to its release during Valentine¡¯s week, the eventual February 14 is a hopeful day for the film. While this Deepak Mukut production has already surpassed new releases, it would be interesting to see if it can also stand alongside Chhaava¡¯s release today.

While speaking to Screen, Rane was hopeful that his 2016 film would do something it couldn¡¯t do 9 years back. He said, ¡°Everyone was asking me everywhere to bring this film back. The only anecdote I remember is that we all were expecting this film to do much better than what it did. When it didn¡¯t perform well, we all (the producers, director, actors) felt that pain, a tug in the heart.¡±
For the unversed, Sanam Teri Kasam¡¯s sequel has been confirmed by the makers for a February 2026 release as yet another Valentine¡¯s treat. While Harshvardhan¡¯s return has been confirmed, Mawra Hocane¡¯s return to Bollywood is still doubtful.
