Vin Diesel's commitment to family in the Fast And Furious films has often made headlines. His character, Dom Toretto, often talks about the importance of family in the films and is seen prioritising them over everything else.?
He wrote, "Yeah yeah yeah¡ you see this angel over my shoulder cracking me up, you say to your self ¡° that¡¯s captain Marvel¡±. Clearly there is love and laughter in this image. What you don¡¯t see however, is the character you will be introduced to in Fast10. You have no idea how timeless and amazing she will be in our mythology. Beyond her beauty, her intellect¡ her Oscar, haha is this profound soul who will add something you might not have expected but yearned for.?Welcome to the FAMILY Brie."??
Brie Larson also shared the same picture on Instagram and thanked Vin Diesel for the warm welcome. She wrote, "Excited doesn¡¯t even begin to explain how I feel about joining the Fast family, thank you for welcoming me in with so much kindness and excitement, @vindiesel. can¡¯t wait to share more (when I can)."
The first installment of the film aired back in June 2001 and introduced us to Brian O'Conner (Paul Walker), an LAPD officer who is sent to investigate a hijackers' crew. On the other hand is Dominic Toretto, leading the crew and a kickass street racer. The two become friends and the rest of the films in the series capture their bond together as they go from being friends to family and face several enemies together.
?Paul Walker died in a tragic car accident in 2013. He was last seen in Fast And Furious 7, the climax of which included a heartwarming tribute to the late actor.?
