Indian Railways Announces Festival Special Train List For Chhath Puja 2023
The festive season is in full swing in India, and the country is all geared up to celebrate Diwali and Chhath Puja 2023.
Due to heavy number of people travelling to their native places to celebrate the festival of Diwali via train, flights, bus, the Indian Railways on Tuesday has decided to run a festival special trains for Diwali and Chhath Puja. The decision was taken by Indian Railways to accommodate the surge of people wanting to travel by train but failed to book confirmed tickets.
To ensure order and better accommodate passengers during the festive season with Dhanteras, Diwali, Chhath Puja around the corner, Indian Railways has introduced 283 special festival trains. Railway officials have stated that these special trains will collectively undertake 4,480 journeys, offering significant respite to travelers intending to venture out amidst the bustling holiday season.?Chhath Puja Wishes Images

Train Number 02252 will run between New Delhi and Patna on 11, 14 and 16 November. The train will leave New Delhi at 07.25 in the morning and reach Patna at 7 in the evening. It will pass through Kanpur Centre, Prayagraj, Buxar and Arrah on the way.
