In yet another feat, Sonam appeared on the latest digital cover of the 'Dirty Magazine' and broke the internet with her unique look. The cover was shared by official Instagram handle of the magazine with a statement by the star that reads, ¡°The queer community¡¯s approach to fashion is so often fearless, experimental, and willing to push boundaries. For the shot, Sonam Kapoor donned a stunning custom Anamika Khanna outfit for a perfect modern Indian bride look. The star was seen in an off-white saree paired with a full-sleeved blouse and a whimsical veil, featuring delicate gold-toned embroidery on the borders. Styled by Flora Huddart, the ensemble was accessorised by gorgeous jewellery that included a multi-layered statement necklace along with a multi-stranded matha patti?that Sonam wore on her wedding day.
The cover was shot by Tim Walker in his typical edgy style, where a transparent plastic hairspray face shield used typically by hairstylists and makeup artists while using hairspray was left in the final picture. According to famous Instagram fashion account Diet Sabya, leaving the face shield in the final shot showcases the in-between process of a bride getting ready and is also very common for Tim's aesthetic where he uses elements that usually don't belong in the final shot.
