Kirill Tereshin, The ‘Russian Popeye’ Faces The Risk Of Having His Chemical-Filled Arms Amputated

Kirill Tereshin, a 21-year-old Russian bodybuilder and an ex-soldier has drawn a lot of criticism from both critics as well as doctors after he recently took to social media to flaunt his abnormally-sized 24-inch Popeye-like arms.?

That’s because Tereshin achieved this feat by injecting his biceps with dangerous chemicals that after leaving the army this summer!?

His arms grew to 10-inches in just 10-days when he initially began to inject it with his homemade Synthol muscle-enhancement oil, to give his arms an appearance enhancement that earned him the title of the ‘Russian Popeye’.

Synthol is 85 per cent oil, 7.5 per cent lidocaine, and 7.5 per cent alcohol. Tereshin says he makes his from olive oil, lidocaine and benzyl alcohol.

Tereshin claims that you need to inject liters of this oil to reach such a size, as he got there by injecting 250ml into his arms. He even got apparently got fever of up to 40 degrees, feeling like he was going to die. But he eventually ended up continuing because he was ‘fine’ thereafter!

A top Russian medic, Professor Evgeny Lilin, states, “Not immediately but he very likely faces amputation in the future.” His 23-inch biceps have already received six litres of this ‘dangerous liquid’.??

“One day abscesses will develop, then inflammation and he (will be at risk of) a stroke. The bad thing is that already-injected Synthol or its equivalent will remain in his muscles for the next five to seven years, even if he stops adding more now.”

Yet, Tereshin doesn't plan to stop injecting himself with his homemade Synthol muscle-enhancer till his arms reach 27 inches in size, states the Daily Mail UK.?

He goes on to say, “For about a month I was making up to ten injections into each arm every day, using a 20 ml syringe. If I had used real Synthol, it would have cost me about 400,000 roubles (?5,000), but as I made it myself, I spent only about 4,000 roubles (?50 pounds).”
