The '90s were an era where there was a lot of free time. Computers had still not made a place in every Indian household and smartphones hadn¡¯t even come to our lives. We had a lot of time to laze around, spend time with our friends and make memories worth a lifetime. Most of us actually stepped out of the house to play every single day. We played some games the mention of which almost always takes us back in time and makes us feel nostalgic.
Here are some games every '90s kid would know about and they will take you down memory lane:

You had to make the right decision as to how to defeat the other team and that too while running! The wish was always to not be the last one selected.

Balancing ourselves on a single leg, the aim was to reach number 8 before losing the balance.
?
This is the game that gave us our first adrenaline rush. From learning how to hit the target to piling up the stones, it taught us a lot.

While many of us still refer to ¡®I spy¡¯ as ¡®icepice¡¯, the target back in the day was always a ¡®dhappa¡¯ on the denner¡¯s back.
5. Vish-Amrit
The only hope was to not be ¡®vished¡¯ by the denner and the other hope was to ¡®amrit¡¯ our BFFs when they were stuck.
6. Chain-chain
wikipedia
It would start with one denner and would end up with a bunch of people as a part of the ¡®chain¡¯.

It might seem simple but standing still in just one pose was too tough when we were restless kids.
8. Poshampa

While most of us would move really quick so as to not get caught in the ¡®jail¡¯ but really, it was the catchy ?¡®poshampa bhai poshampa¡¯ poem that we liked reciting.

Running around on one leg to catch the others? This was always a losing game for the denner.
10. Latoo Battles

Before beyblades took over, we had our own humble latoos to spin around on the floor.

This one really taught us how to think out of the box while being inside the box.
12. Dodgeball/Maaram Pitthi

Surrounding people only to target them with a ball? Sounds dangerous but was always fun.

Collecting the maximum number shiny kanchas seemed way better than having a big bank balance.
