In the ever-evolving fashionable world of Bollywood, it is very difficult to pinpoint a particular brand that is loved by all as every celeb has an individualistic sense of style! But in the last couple of weeks, we have noticed a brand that's become kind of a recurring theme. Yes, we are talking about?Torani, a traditional wear label, that has seemingly become Bollywood's favourite with so many divas flaunting their outfits.
For a musical event last night at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC), Janhvi Kapoor styled a 'sindoori' red saree from the traditional wear label Torani and paired it with a contrasting green blouse. The luxurious organza saree featured intricate dori embroidery and was adorned with 'dabka', beads and sequin work along with zari lace and 'balda' work borders.
Ananya Panday is another actress who opted for a stunning saree from the brand for last night's NMACC event. Ananya wore an elegant aqua-greed hued silk drape and paired it with a modern bralette-style blouse. The saree featured multi-coloured floral digital prints and was decorated with moti work and tassel embroidery.
Recently Kiara Advani joined the bandwagon and styled a vibrant Torani lehenga-choli during the grand wedding celebrations of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Kiara was seen in an eye-catching purple lehenga which was paired with a magenta choli and a purple, magenta and orange coloured dupatta. Handcrafted with 'succha' zardosi embroidery and embellished with 'motia' and 'dori waraq', the exquisite lehenga stood out among a sea of beautiful outfits.
A couple of weeks ago, mommie-to-be Deepika Padukone was seen in not one but two outfits from the brand as she attended the Ambani wedding festivities.
For the sangeet celebrations, Deepika opted for a royal purple organza saree, which has been named 'Hukum Ki Raani Saree' by the brand. The bejewelled piece boats playing card motifs which are adorned with 'zardosi' and 'doria embroidery.
On the day of the wedding, Deepika was seen in a heritage red salwar suit set, inspired by 'Peshwaz' that was worn by mughal women in court. The bespoke attire features intricate zardosi embroidery with 'succha dabka', 'badla' and 'moti'.

Another Bollywood fashionista who has been seen in two equally beautiful Torani outfits is Tamanaah Bhatia. For the promotion of her song 'Aaj Ki Raat' in the movie 'Stree 2', Tamanaah was seen in a stylish red crepe-silk saree which was paired with a unique corset-style blouse. A combination of hand embroidery and digital work can be seen in her attire.
In another ethereal look from the Ambani wedding festivities, Tamanaah styled a heavily embellished black silk lehenga from the brand that was decorated with the brand's signature 'succha doria', 'dabka', sequin work and 'zardosi' embroidery and embellishments.
Now that Torani has received Bollywood's stamp of approval with more and more stars donning their traditional wear, you can also give their exquisite collection a try in the coming festival season!
