This time, Nita stunned everyone with an elegant custom Manish Malhotra saree in a deep purple hue. As per the ace designer, Nita was wearing a specially designed saree called the 'Jamuni Paithani' which was decorated with a Paithani border from Swadesh which was paired with a handwoven Banarasi chevron blouse. the beautifully crafted saree featured a border made using golden threads and floral motifs.

The 60-year-old philanthropist and businesswoman was seen in her signature dewy finish makeup which was paired with kohl-filled eyes and smoky eye shadow with the help of celebrity makeup artist Micky Contractor. She completed her look with dazzling diamond jewellery.

History of Paithani sarees

As per celebrity saree and dupatta draper Dolly Jain, the Paithani saree originated from the historic town of Paithan in Maharashtra state. In a recent post where she expertly teaches how to effortlessly drape the unique six yards, she mentions that the unique selling point (USP) of Paithani sarees lies in their handwoven designs which more often than not depict scenes from ancient epics like?Mahabharata and Ramayana.
