After the nationwide lockdown which has almost crossed its fourth stage, domestic flights across India are set to resume services from Monday with new guidelines from the health ministry and respective state governments which has cleared the confusion over what rules may apply to travellers.?
The health ministry put responsibility on the state governments to set protocols for the isolation of flyers as per their discretion.?
States like, Tamil Nadu, Bihar, Assam, Andhra Pradesh and many more have announced their respective quarantine precautions and measures for passengers arriving at their airports.?
There will be a minimum of air services and delay in resuming travel in some states.?
Here¡¯s the state wise measure regarding the air travel:?
Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri said that there will be a maximum of 25 arrivals in Chennai but there will be no limit on the departures.?
For other airports in Tamil Nadu,domestic flights will operate as similar to other parts of the country.?
All passengers will have to register themselves on the state¡¯s specific portal for travel and get an e-pass before even boarding the flight. The government has announced that the passengers would be given a travel permit which will have a QR Code that needs to be there before the arrival at the airport.?
2. All the passengers have to undergo thermal screening. Passengers found without any symptoms will be pushed for 14 day quarantine, while the regular procedures would apply to those who display coronavirus symptoms.?
The Maharashtra government on Sunday said it will allow 25 passenger flights to take off from the airport and as many passengers to take off from Mumbai from Monday adding that the number of passengers will be increased gradually with assessment of the situation.?
The MIAL - Mumbai International Airport Limited has said that the domestic operations will resume from May 25 at the Mumbai International Airport.?
Hardeep Singh Puri said that limited flights will operate from Mumbai as per approved 1/3 rd schedule from other airports in the state.?
The Mumbai airport has given or offered two slots per day to Air India from Monday in spite of 10 slots which were offered earlier. One slot will be used by any wide body aircraft flying between Delhi and Mumbai as preferred and in the evening.?
Government officials announced on Sunday night that airports in Kolkata and Bagdogra in cyclone hit West Bengal will not be in operation for any domestic flights between May 25 and 27 but will handle 20 flights each from May 28.??
Chief Minister of Bengal Mamata Banerjee earlier said that she will ask the Centre to postpone the resumption of flight services at Kolkata and Bagdogra airports by a few days.?
The operation of domestic flights in the state will start by Tuesday.?
All the passengers who are coming from Andhra Pradesh will be put under home quarantine as said by the state government, adding that once their test results for COVID-19 come negative, they will be relieved from quarantine.?
The UP government has announced that passengers who are arriving in the state will be sent on a 14 day home quarantine period unless their visit to the state is for less than a week or if they clear the covid-19 test.?
The state? also said that passengers can get themselves tested after 5 days from their arrival and end their quarantine period if they test negative for the coronavirus.?
It is also announced by the state that the passengers travelling to UP have to register themselves on a web site? http://reg.upcovid.in and provide the details of the following family members who are apparently travelling with them.?
15 domestic flights will arrive in Goa from Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Mysore Airport at the Goa International Airport Dabolim on May 25.?
The government of Goa said that all those passengers in the state would have to fill a self-declaration form.?
The Meghalaya Government said that all passengers will be tested for the coronavirus and would have to undergo a 48-hour institutional quarantine.??

The passengers who will be having mild symptoms can be home quarantined or choose government or private facility, the guidelines state.d Appropriate medical health will be provided to those who are showing symptoms.?
People showing severe symptoms will be isolated and taken to the government hospital.?
The airports in Hyderabad, Telegana will allow 30 flights daily starting from Monday as per official.?
All the flights will have an equal number of arrivals and departures, the officials added.?
The city of Dharamshala will be having two flights from Delhi and Chandigarh daily.?
It also said that the passengers with valid address proof of the state should book tickets to the city.?
