The Supreme Court's directive came in response to a writ petition filed by candidates challenging the two-shift exam format, citing concerns over arbitrariness and unequal difficulty levels between shifts. The court ordered NBEMS to conduct the NEET PG 2025 exam in a single shift with secure and transparent test centers.
To follow the Supreme Court＊s instructions, NBEMS is now working to find and set up more test centers across India. They are also upgrading the infrastructure needed to conduct the NEET PG 2025 exam in a single shift for all candidates. This large-scale arrangement is a big logistical challenge. Because of this, the exam has been postponed.
