The seventh edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha is set to be heldon 29 January, 2024.
First held in 2018, it is an annual event in which the Prime Minister of India interacts withstudents, teachers and parents from across the country, and shares valuabletips on how to take board and entrance exams in a relaxed and stress-freemanner.
The seventh edition of the eventhas recorded over 1 crore registrations on the MyGov portal till January 5.
While students and parents alike await for the PM to share his valuableinsights this year, they can look back at the guidance given last year toensure exam success.

In the 6th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2023, PMModi said, "Time management is important during examinations. Note downeach and everything you do in a week, analyse your timetable and then keeptrack of which subject needs more time or can say focus."
Along with managing time, Modialso focused on the need to micro-manage since it is necessary for students toanalyse which subjects they are weak in and which subjects are their strengths.
PM Modi stressed on the needto do hard work smartly. This meant first understanding and analysing the work,instead of rushing ahead to work on something.
This can waste all our effortsand hard work so the PM advised students to analyse and then work hardon the specific areas that need practice.
"Some people only do hardwork; some do smart work; some do nothing. Students who will do hard work willachieve heights in their life. Do hard work and be consistent in it," headded.
"Nowadays, children spend6-7 hours using mobiles; this is ruining our younger generation. We arebecoming its slaves. We have a culture of fasting. Can we decide that we willdo digital fasting for one day a week? Try it, you will like it. Test yourself,"the PM advised.
The PM said, "Don'tbecome a slave of smartphones or gadgets. Trust that you are smarter than yoursmartphone or gadget. Use gadgets according to the need.¡±
"Students are creativewhen it comes to finding methods to cheat. And they spend more time finding newmethods of cheating instead of studying for the upcoming board examinations.These days, you clear the examination but at every step, cheating won't helpyou," Modi said.
Asking students to avoidcheating and unfair practices, PM Modi had suggested focusing on inner strength instead.
The PM likened criticism to apurification yajna.
Giving examples of a companythat puts up its product for sale in the market asking consumers to find flawsin the product, he stressed on the need of criticism for improvement.
