The Uttar Pradesh police is recruiting a total of 60,244 candidates for various positions such as constable, SI, jail warder, radio operator, clerical cadre, computer operator, and computer programmer.?The state government on Saturday issued a notification for the biggest police recruitment in the state, expected to provide employment to thousands.
The online applications have begun on 27 December 2023 and the last date to submit applications is 16 January, 2024 while the last date to pay the application fee is 18 January, 2024.?

Document Verification and Physical Standard Test (PST) | Qualified candidates in written examination have to undergo a Document verification process (the candidate¡¯s original documents shall be checked by the officials) and a Physical Measurement Test (PMT) where their height & chest (only for males) will be measured. This stage is qualifying in nature. |
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) | Those candidates who qualify for DV and PST are eligible to appear for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET). This stage is qualifying in nature. |
The UP Police Constable written exam will be an objective-based exam of 300 marks for 150 questions. The total duration would be 2 hours.
