Ew, ew, ew!
Fashion brand Zara USA has landed itself in a soup. Because a woman is suing the company for a dress that came with a rodent's leg sewn into it!
Manhattan Supreme Court
Cailey Fiesel from New York purchased a black dress from Zara in July. However, when she wore it a few weeks later, she also wore a "disturbingly pungent odor" along with it. While trying to figure out where the smell came from, she bent down to remove a loose thread from her dress - which unfortunately turned out to be a rotten rodent's leg instead!

Justifiably, Cailey decided to sue the fashion brand and a lawsuit has been filed. Because it wasn't just the horror of a rotten limb of a dead rodent attached to her person, it was also the terrible allergy she developed soon after she wore the dress, known as the 'rodent-born disease'.?
As reported by Metro UK, Cailey has sued the company for unspecified damages, quoting that Zara owed her a "duty of care" while manufacturing dresses that were "free from defects, including rodent infestations."

From the house of Zara, a representative said, "Zara USA is aware of the suit, and we are investigating the matter further. Zara USA has stringent health and safety standards, and we are committed to ensuring that all of our products meet these rigorous requirements."
