"When Eman was brought from Mumbai, she was going through severe depression. We have used a multi-disciplinary approach to treat her where obesity is just one of the issues," Dr Yassin Sahat, chief medical officer of Burjeel Hospital in Abu Dhabi told DNA.
A statement by Burjeel Hospital on Monday said Eman has "gradually recovered" and managed to lose 65 kgs since she entered the hospital as an inbound patient, Xinhua news agency reported.

A correction surgery of hip, knee and joints is needed. Her leg muscles are too weak to support her weight and physiotherapy is necessary. But we are still not sure if she can walk."
