Days after the dastardly terror attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama, which was carried out by a local youth who had joined the Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), the Indian Army has sent out a strong warning to the local youths turning into militancy.
"Anyone who picks up a gun will be killed and eliminated unless he surrenders," Lt. General Kamal Jeet Singh Dhillon, 15 Corp Commander who addressed the media in a joint press conference said.

Lt. Gen Dhillon also appealed to the families in Kashmir, especially mothers to discourage their sons from taking up arms and convince those have joined militancy to surrender.??
"I request all the mothers in the Valley to ensure that their sons don¡¯t take up the gun,¡± Lt Gen Dhillon said.
He also said that the Army has eliminated the Jaish-e-Mohammad leadership that planned and executed the February 14 Pulwama attack within 100 hours of the attack on the convoy.

¡°We were tracking the Jaish-e-Mohammed leadership. We are happy to inform that we eliminated the Jaish leadership in the Valley, which was controlled by Pakistan in less than 100 hours after the Pulwama attack,¡± he said.
This comes a day after an operation in Pulwama, in which three JeM terrorists were killed. Four Indian Army personnel and a police constable were also killed in the encounter.?
The three terrorists were identified as Kamran, a Pakistani national, believed to have planned and executed the Pulwama attack, another Pakistani terrorist named Rashid and Hilal Ahmad a local Kashmiri.

Addressing the media Lt Gen Dhillon also called out Pakistan's direct involvement in the terror attack last week.
"We were tracking down top leadership since the attack. It was being controlled from across by ISI and Pakistan and JeM commanders," Dhillon said adding that "?JeM is a child of the Pakistan Army."
