While she was singled out many questioned the system for the kind of disaster it had cooked up because of negligence.
Turns out it is not a case that is just limited to Bihar. According to a report in The Indian Express, Class X students from Gujarat couldn't even answer a basic question- How many sides does a triangle have? While some said they didn't know for others it had four!
Many also couldn't solve a two-digit multiplication and subtraction.?

The shocking revelations came out on Tuesday after Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) pulled up 500 Class X students who were suspected of cheating.
They had scored more than 80 per cent, a few even scoring 90-95 per cent in the objective section.
The suspicion arose while tallying the marks as disparity between marks for their objective and subjective answers, particularly in Mathematics was pretty much evident. All these students scored zero in the subjective section.?
During the hearing on Tuesday, which was held in the presence of their parents, some students admitted that "someone from outside the examination room through the windows."

¡°During the hearing, a few revealed that they were tutored by school teachers not to admit that they have copied, but simply say that they have forgotten what they studied. This was the standard reply to all questions we asked them,¡± said Pravinsinh Rana, one of the panel members told The Indian Express.
Some students also revealed that a teacher used to stand right below the CCTV camera of the examination hall and tutored them answers.?
