Goa Agriculture minister Vijai Sardesai is known for making absurd comments and one came recently when he said that the beauty contests should be held paddy field as it would attract youth towards farming.
"Today agriculture does not appeal the young generation. They feel that it is a profession of the old people. The need of the hour is to incentivise agriculture," he said.
