We can all agree that wedding is considered an extremely important event in India. Its vibrant, intricately planned, culturally-rich and full of celebration and tradition.
But Indian weddings are also famous for jugaad of all kinds.?A picture circulating on social media is a proof that Indians are 'jugaadu' and they'll do what they have to without any compromises.
In Laxmanpur- Shankarpur village, when the ¡®baraat¡¯ arrived, almost the entire village ran to the venue to take a selfie ¡ª not with the groom, but with the decorated bulldozer on which he came.
On Saturday, the whole village had a festive look after the groom arrived on a bulldozer and cries of ¡®Bulldozer Baba ki jai¡¯ rent the air.?The groom Badshah was happy at the attention he had managed to garner in the village.
¡°I wanted to make my wedding a memorable event and I thought that this idea would also make it different,¡± he said.
However, this isn't the first time a wedding has garnered attention from netizens on social media.
Earlier in April, an Indian baraat's 'Desi Jugaad' won hearts on the internet. The baraat used a jumbo sunshade in order to beat the heat of the summer in Surat. The video that had gone viral showed that the groom who was riding the horse was under a jumbo yellow-colored sunshade.
In fact, the baraat was going under the sunshade along with the people grooving on the wedding tunes. The video was shared by Retired Air Marshal Anil Chopra who wrote, "Sun shade and mobile secure enclosure for barat. Innovations galore."
In December last year too, a bridegroom with his 'baraat' went from Azamgarh to Mau in Uttar Pradesh for his wedding scheduled for the night of December 10, but found the bride's address missing and her whereabouts unknown.
Braving the cold weather, the groom, his family and friends along with the marriage procession, searched for the bride's house the entire night. They say they looked at all the streets in Mau, in search of the bride's family. However, after searching for hours, the angry groom along with his 'baraat' went back home.
