Several states have announced compensation for the families of the security personnel, who were killed in Pulwama attack. It is being considered as one of the deadliest attacks on security forces, at least 44 CRPF jawans were killed when their convoy was targeted by a suicide bomber of Jaish-e-Mohammad, a Pakistan-backed terror outfit.
Around 2,500 CRPF personnel were travelling from Jammu to Srinagar in a convoy of 78 buses.?
The Rajasthan government on Saturday revised the ex-gratia to the family members of CRPF jawans from the state who were among the 40 killed in the Pulwama terror attack to Rs. 50 lakh from Rs. 25 lakh.

The government has also announced jobs to family members of the killed jawans.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Trivendra Singh has announced financial assistance of Rs 25 lakh each to the next kin of the CRPF jawans from Uttarakhand killed in the attack. He has also announced a government job to one member of each family.?
Two CRPF jawans from Uttarakhand were among the 44 personnel killed in the attack.
Prasana Sahu and Manoj Behera were among the 44 jawans killed in the suicide attack. The Odisha government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each for the families of the slain soldiers.?
The Uttar Pradesh government has also announced a compensation of Rs 25 lakh each to the families of the 12 CRPF jawans from Uttar Pradesh. The Yogi Adityanath government has also announced a job to one member of each soldier's family.?
The link road in the native village of these martyrs will also be named after them.

Punjab government has announced an ex-gratia of Rs 12 lakh along with a government job to the next of kin of Kulwinder Singh of Roopnagar district, Sukhjinder Singh of Tarantarn, Jaimal Singh of Moga and Manjinder Singh of Dinanagar.
The family of Ashwini Kumar Kachhi will get a compensation of Rs 1 crore. Kachhi was one of the CRPF jawan killed in the grisly Pulwama attack.?
