The memories flooded back to him when he realised his phone now had become unusable due to telemarketing.
In a viral post, he reflected on the concept of karma, sharing photos from his call center days and remarking, "My phone has become unusable due to telemarketing and is always silent. Guess what goes around comes around."
He added, "I guess Karma has a way of biting back."
Nithin's post has since garnered over 331.5K views and 4.8K likes.
People had varied opinions.
One person mentioned, "9/10 calls are spam and selling unwanted stuff. Voice calls will be dead and data only will win. Matter of time," while another added, "More than tele marketing, now-a-days NGOs also calls incessantly."
Someone else commented, "Same for me. The telemarketers have made a mockery of our phone numbers. I think phone numbers are sold like gutkha and paan in India."
Yet another person expressed frustration, wondering how telemarketers get his number when they can¡¯t: "Bhai, we want to meet you to pitch our startup but have no way to knowing your number, but telemarketers call you multiple times! Kya duniya hai."
