You slog your way to the office every day,?wade through peak-hour traffic?and?work 9 hours just to bring home a paycheck each month. Now, imagine when controversy¡¯s favorite figure claims she earns Rs 40k a day selling vada pav and has even made it to Bigg Boss OTT. It makes you question your life choices, doesn't it? That's exactly what a corporate employee on LinkedIn did.
Anushka Nayak, currently working as a creative lead according to her LinkedIn profile, posted on the platform:?
"People after doing MBA: earning 40k in a month. Kyu ki padhai? Isse aacha vada pav ka thela kholl lete."
In the comments, people shared varied opinions.
One user noted, "Not every vada pav seller earns 40k/day, and not every MBA graduate earns 40k/month. This comparison is biased. There are MBA graduates earning 10L+ monthly and vada pav sellers struggling to make a living. We should compare the pinnacle, if comparing."
Another commented, "Because not all vada pav sellers make 40k a day, and many skilled MBA graduates earn much more than 40k a month. Padaai zaruri hai!"
A different perspective stated, "Everyone is focused on her earning 40k/day. No one talks about how she has been breaking rules, creating nuisances, and then playing the victim card."
Yet another logical standpoint mentioned, "An MBA graduate can grow exponentially, whereas the vada pav business might go bankrupt due to changing eating trends or new competitors. It could also become the next McDonald's of India. It ultimately depends on the individual. Principles are the same, and if the vada pav girl uses MBA principles better than the MBA graduate, she can also succeed. Knowledge matters, and sometimes a degree helps, sometimes not."
Vada pav girl, Chandrika Gera Dixit, shot to fame overnight after a video of her serving street food in Delhi¡¯s Sainik Vihar neighborhood was posted by food vlogger Amit Jindal.?
Dixit shared with Jindal that she had to quit her job at Haldiram's after her son caught dengue fever. Her husband, who worked with Rapido, a bike-taxi aggregator, struggled with unconventional work hours. Driven by her passion for cooking, Dixit decided to start her own food cart.
Since then, she has skyrocketed to fame, and now, she has even joined Bigg Boss OTT as a contestant.
