Taj Mahal is the perfect example of what true love is like. Recently, a lovestruck school teacher from Madhya Pradesha man from Madhya Pradesh gifted a replica of the same love symbol to his wife.
This replica of the Taj Mahal is a four-bedroom house, that was gifted by Anand Prakash Chouksey's gift to his wife, Manjusha, who is also a teacher.?
Burhanpur city is around 350km from Bhopal and 800km from Agra, close to the Maharashtra border.
Anand Prakash Chouksey, the man behind this labour of love, said it took around 30 months to build the four-bedroom replica, which they inaugurated in 2019.
The building sprawls over 8,100 sq ft, and includes four bedrooms, a library and a meditation room.
It is about one-third the size of the original monument and also includes a 29-foot high dome. It is built with marble from Makrana, which is the same that was used to build the Taj Mahal.
The lighting, inside and outside the house, is done in such a way that the building shines in the dark.
The engineer who built the house faced many challenges during the construction to maintain the accuracy and beauty of the original monument.
"My wife's only demand was for a meditation room. She's a spiritual woman," the 52-year-old was said to AFP.
Madhya Pradesh's Burhanpur, where Mumtaz Mahal breathed her last in 1631, now has another 'Taj Mahal.'
