In 1982, Shaktidaan Singh attempted a bank dacoity under the limits of the Akbargarh police station in Banaskantha, Gujarat. During the dacoity, Singh murdered three persons, including a police official. Since the robbery, Singh had been a wanted criminal, TOI reported.?
