Then, just a couple of days ago, two different videos from Hyderabad had emerged on social media, one showing three puppies being burnt alive, while the second one showed a dog being shot dead.
Now another sickening story is being reported from Bengaluru, where animal activists came across a mass grave of street dogs in the city.

According to a report in Bangalore Mirror, People for Animals (PFA) activists were alerted by a liquor manufacturer about the grave in their farmhouse. They also informed about hearing a dog yelping and squealing.
Once the PFA activists reached the spot, they found the mass grave of over 30 dogs, and another one alive.

The rescued dog, believed to be around 18-months old, is now being taken care of by the activists and is recovering.

It still remains a mystery who is behind the mass murder of these many dogs. While some have pointed fingers at the BBMP which in the past have resorted to mass killing to check the street dog menses.
However activists said the killed dogs seemed healthy and don't appear to be street dogs.
"Most of the dogs buried in the pit seem very healthy. They might have been killed. No NGO or person can resort to such a massacre," said Naveen Kumar.
