Pakistan Prime Minister, Imran Khan, has invited Navjot Singh Sidhu, a close friend and Congress MLA from Punjab, for the foundation ceremony of the foundation-laying ceremony of the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor in Pakistan.
Confirming the report, Sidhu said: ¡°I received invitation from Pakistan PM Imran Khan and the Pakistan high commission in India has also contacted me to know my itinerary.¡±

The foundation stone of the corridor will be laid on November 28 by Imran Khan, while on November 26, President Ram Nath Kovind and Amarinder Singh will do the pioneering ceremony on the Indian side.
The corridor will give Sikh pilgrims from India easy access to the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur, in Pakistan, where Guru Nanak Dev spent 18 years.
Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that the Kartarpur Corridor project, with all modern amenities and facilities, will be implemented with Central Government funding to provide smooth and easy passage to the pilgrims.?
