Mukesh Ambani owned Reliance Industries officially announced its 4G service, Jio with much fanfare last week. Ever since the launch it has been a rage among Indians, especially due to its dirt-cheap data plans. The hype was so huge that there were even reports that people were selling Jio sim cards in blackmarket.
However a Facebook user has posted a couple of images that could be a matter of concern to some users.
The Facebook page, Gedi Route Jammu claims a Jio LYF Water 1 phone exploded while it was in the user's hand.
According to a report, ?the user was said to be browsing Facebook on his LYF Water 1, and the device suddenly exploded in his hand and now he is being treated for injuries on his hand. The reason for this explosion is not known yet.
This also comes days after Samsung announced recalling its high-end Note-7 lineup over concerns of its battery exploding.
Recently there were also reports of others phones like OnePlus Three and iPhone exploding.
