Foreign Minister Sushma Swaraj will not visit Pakistan to attend the ground-breaking Kartarpur corridor ceremony for Sikh pilgrims, but two of her cabinet colleagues will attend it. India will send Union ministers Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Hardeep Singh Puri, her office said on Saturday while responding to an invite to her by Islamabad for the event.

Similarly, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder has also declined the invite citing the continued killings of Indian soldiers and terror attacks in Punjab.?
Meanwhile, one of his cabinet members, Navjot Singh Sidhu who was also invited by Pakistan for the historic event said he will attend the function.?

"I look forward to meeting you on this historic occasion. My application for permission to attend is now lodged with MEA," he wrote in his reply.
Earlier, Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi had extended invitations to Ms Swaraj, Amarinder Singh, and Sidhu to attend the ceremony at Kartarpur on November 28.
