Rajasthan, where 85 have died and 2,263 others have been tested positive has been the worst hit in the swine flu outbreak across north India.
According to the figures released by the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), a total of 226 people have been killed in the country due to the infection.
43 death were registered in Gujarat due to the disease which is also known as H1N1, followed by Punjab where 30 people have lost their lives.

In Delhi, official figures put the number of swine flu deaths at 6, while reports from hospital say at least 10 people have been killed due to the infection.
PTI, quoting a report of the Directorate General of Health Services said that 1,093 people have been affected by the disease in Delhi.
Meanwhile, the Delhi government has issued a health advisory, prescribing the dos and don'ts.

"Patients with a co-morbid condition like low immunity, on immune-suppressant, blood cancer, renal transplant, diabetes, heart disease are at high risk of getting infected with swine flu," the advisory said.
The infection is caused by one of the several swine influenza viruses (SIV), with the H1N1 strain being the most common across the country. The virus is spread from the breathes droplets of coughs and sneezes of infected individuals.?
The symptoms of the flu are fever, cough, sore throat, runny or stuffy nose, difficulty in breathing. Other symptoms may include body ache, headache, fatigue, chills, diarrhoea and vomiting and blood-stained sputum.
