A chai seller¡¯s daughter from Delhi has achieved a remarkable milestone by cracking the highly challenging Chartered Accountant (CA) exam after a decade of relentless hard work. Amita Prajapati, who shared her gratitude to her parents in an emotional LinkedIn post, revealed that her father, despite facing financial difficulties and enduring jibes from relatives, always supported her educational aspirations.
In a heartfelt video accompanying her post, Prajapati captured the emotional moment her father, a tea seller, teared up upon hearing the news of her success. The video also shows Prajapati herself crying as she hugged her father. She disclosed that people often told her father that she would never be able to pass the exam as she was considered a below-average student. ¡°They used to say you can't afford to educate her so much by selling tea, save money and build a house instead,¡± she revealed.
Prajapati also shared that she and her family lived in a slum during her preparation for the CA exams. ¡°Yes, I live in a slum. Very few people know this, but now I am not ashamed,¡± she declared. She further expressed her plans to build a house for her family so they could move out of the slum. ¡°People say slum dwellers have crazy minds, and they are right. Ending her post with a heartfelt thanks to her parents, Prajapati wrote, ¡°Whatever I am today is because of my Papa and Mummy who believed in me so much,¡± adding that they never believed she would leave them one day, as their relatives told them.
