Pakistan is still reeling from the shock of the suicide attack at Karachi University (KU) on Tuesday that left four people, including three Chinese nationals dead.
The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) an armed separatist group had claimed responsibility for the attack, one of the worst in Pakistan, targeting Chinese citizens.
According to BLA, the attack was carried out by a woman suicide bomber.
In a statement, BLA which is said to be operating out of Afghanistan identified the bomber as Shari Baloch or Bramsh.
It said that she was the group's first female bomber and that the attack marks ¡°a new chapter in the history of Baloch resistance.¡±
The group also posted the photo of Shari Baloch and said she was from the Majeed Brigade.
According to Afghan journalist Bashir Ahmad Gwakh, Shari Baloch is a mother of two and was married to a Dentist.
Later, a Twitter user, identified as Habitan Bashir Baloch tweeted a photo of himself and Shari Baloch along with two kids.
"Shari Jan,your selfless act has left me speechless but I am also beaming with pride today. Mahroch and Meer Hassan will grow into very proud humans thinking what a great woman their mother was. You will continue to remain an important part of our lives," he wrote on Twitter.
"I am proud of fearless sacrifice and martyrdom of my great granddaughter Shari Baloch. Balochistan demands such sacrifices and Baloch children will continue to sacrifice their lives till complete independence of motherland. Our real goal is complete independence of Baloch land," another Twitter user, Baloch Siddik Azad wrote.

The 30-year-old joined the group two years ago and volunteered herself for a "self-sacrificing mission".
CCTV footage of the suicide attack on Tuesday showed a burqa-clad woman, blowing herself up as the van passes through the road.
In an explosion, at least four people, including three Chinese citizens, were killed and several others were injured.
According to some claims online, Abdul Waheed Qamber, the father of Shari Baloch was taken away by the men in Pakistan Army uniform when she was a teenager and his whereabouts are unknown since.
Separatist movement in Balochistan?
Balochistan, Pakistan's largest province has seen a separatist insurgency that has been ongoing for decades.
Successive Pakistan governments and Army leadership have tried to suppress the separatists.
Baloch leaders have long accused the Pakistan establishment of extrajudicial killings and abduction of activists.
