Unidentified flying objects, popularly known as UFOs, have always fascinated humankind, and many link them with aliens and extraterrestrial life. Reports of UFO sightings are often celebrated by enthusiasts who rush to such spots with the hope of getting glimpses of them.
Aurora in Texas, Roswell in New Mexico, and Bonnybridge in Scotland are some of the most famous UFO hotspots in the world.
Bonnybridge is a small town in Scotland that has particularly intrigued UFO enthusiasts over the years. According to the community, Bonnybridge has the most cases of UFO sightings in the world, with nearly 300 UFO sightings reported every year over the past three decades.

It all began in October 1992 when the first case of a UFO sighting was reported in Bonnybridge. A local businessman spotted a star-shaped object hovering above a road and reported it to his local councillor, Billy Buchanan. Since then, the Scottish Government has received hundreds of UFO sightings from Bonnybridge and the surrounding areas. Some locals have even claimed to record video footage of their close encounters with white objects in the sky.
With so many reported UFO sightings over the years, some locals and UFO enthusiasts are convinced that Bonnybridge is the portal to another dimension. Some have even called it 'The Falkirk Triangle,' a reference to the mysterious Bermuda Triangle in the North Atlantic Ocean.

Malcolm Robinson, a paranormal researcher, told The Mirror that the most common UFO sighting in Bonnybridge was 'a large black triangular-shaped craft which flies silently and slowly.' Balls of coloured light also appear regularly and descend from the skies and drop down into fields.
"Sightings happen at any time of day, but they are more noticeable in the evening against the darker sky," he said.
