Cheteshwar Pujara was in great form as he made 123 on the opening day of the first Test vs Australia in Adelaide. But his hopes of staying unbeaten at the end of play was not to be.

This was because Pat Cummins threw the ball with just one stump to aim and he scored a direct hit. Pujara was well short of his ground and had to make his way back to the pavilion. India lost their 9th wicket and play was called off for the day as there was no time left.?

It took a brilliant piece of fielding to end a brilliant knock and maybe that was the only way Pujara was going to be dismissed that day. His 246-ball knock contained 7 fours and 2 sixes as he rescued India from a precarious 41/4.
