The new traffic challans in India have led to some big fines being for violations. Meanwhile, a tennis fan has been left bamboozled by spending Rs 38 lakh on tickets, because he expected the US Open final to be between Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal.
Federer vs Nadal is the match we all want to see, especially if it's a Grand Slam final.
A sports business journalist Darren Rovell revealed the news of the purchase on Twitter, as Federer was leading two sets to one against Dimitrov. The person purchased a total of four tickets which were just three rows off the court, spending a total of $10,815 on each and total of $53,230.80 which roughly translates to INR 38 lakh.
The buyer was hoping to see a Federer vs Nadal match-up in the final but Dimitrov produced a spectacular comeback to march into the semi-final with a thrilling 5-set win. While the names of the finalists are yet to be finalised, the fan would be hoping to at least see the Spaniard progress to the final in order for him to recover some of his investments.
